You probably wouldn't think that you need to be on a diet in your retirement years and in all likelihood you will not. You may not need to go on a diet; however, it is a good idea to focus on the nutritional value of the foods that you intend to consume. Foods that are high in cholesterol, and sodium should be specifically avoided due to the negative reaction that they will have against your heart.
